I’ve led high-risk shoots across Iraq, Afghanistan, South Africa, Colombia, and South Sudan, designing access strategies, supporting contributors on the ground, and ensuring legal and ethical standards are met throughout. I bring the same precision to every frame, whether I’m advising on a broadcast investigation, or a campaign rooted in real-world impact.

From 2014 to 2016, I worked with Internews in South Sudan, supporting the development of local radio stations during a time of civil conflict – an experience that sharpened my understanding of communication in crisis zones and the vital role of trusted storytelling.

I’m now exploring partnerships with travel and humanitarian organisations looking to communicate their work through bold, character-led content. While new to the commercial travel sector, I bring a unique perspective shaped by years of global field experience. I know how to shape narratives that honour place and people, and I’m keen to bring this to the travel world.

I also support on-screen talent development, often mentoring first-time presenters and emerging journalists in the field. South African reporter Ayanda Charlie was named AIB Reporter of the Year in 2024, after two films we made together - a recognition built on trust, editorial clarity, and confidence-building support.
